Our web site is currently under construction because

we are just too darn busy running the farm and market.

Please check back regularly to enjoy our progress.

The Broadmoor Urban Farm is located immediately north of the Center For Academic Achievement building next to our prairie restoration project and trailway. The farm is a working farm owned by the Shawnee Mission School District and operated by the Plant and Soil Science class, the newest of the district's Signature Series programs. The class is a full credit class available to students in all five of the district high schools and led by Doug Moles, long time chemistry teacher and environmental advocate at Shawnee Mission West.
